Discussion of "Abai’s Way" Book by Mukhtar Auezov
On March 11, 2022, from 15.00 p.m. to 16.30 p.m., an educational event was held with the 1st year students of the kazakh department of the Faculty of Law in the specialty "Jurisprudence" as part of the university project "100 Books".
In order to improve the cultural and educational level of students, the project "100 Books" was developed, within which the works of the best domestic and world classics were selected for reading by students of KazNU and a list of them was compiled. In order to implement this project and increase students' interest in reading, the senior teacher G.A. Musanova held an educational event in English according to the plan.
The first part of the event began with a speech by student Arsen Mukashev based on the biography of Mukhtar Auezov. Students Kuralbaev Nursultan, Mendibaev Nursultan and Kamitan Azima read their reports on the work "The Way of Abai". In the second part of the educational event, the students discussed the work "The Way of Abai".
Students asked each other questions and answered them. In the third part of the event, a competition was held among students to solve a crossword puzzle about the work "The Way of Abay" and other works of the writer Mukhtar Auezov. The students who quickly and correctly found the names of the hidden works in the crossword were awarded. The educational event ended with the performance of the song "Kozimnin karasy" by the great poet Abay Kunabayev. Students Mukhametzhan Marlan and Kaldybek Samal sang a song together. The students also prepared very well for this event. Summing up, senior lecturer G.A. Musanova thanked the students for their active participation.
