"English talking club", 2020-2021

     Club meeting №2

By the advisers of the club, the head of the department of foreign languages, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor Adilbayeva U. B and the senior teacher of the department Gaiipova G. organized a scheduled meeting “English talking club” on October 31, 2020 on the ZOOM platform. The topic is «Student's life». The members of the club are students who registered on Instagram: students of KazNU, KazNPU named by Abai, Kyrgyz-Turkish university Manas, the number of attendees is 48 students 12-students of Kyrgyz-Turkish university Manas, 3-students of KazNPU named by Abai and 8 of them are students from Afghanistan.

             Firstly, Adilbayeva U.B congratulated the members of the club, then Gaiipova G. A explained to the members of the club the topic under discussion and introduced the new members of the club. At the meeting, the members of the club spoke only in English.

During the club meeting, the participants discussed the pros and cons of modern student life. Club advisers provided support and assistance with the vocabulary and grammar used by students on this topic.

         The participants were very active and showed a good knowledge of the material on the topic. The club advisers noted students` good job who took part in the event and thanked them for their activ work and deep knowledge. For today, 67 students have been registered.
