"We are descendants of heroes"

On May 6, 2021 at Al - Farabi KazNU, Faculty of Philology, Department of Foreign Languages: Associate Professor, candidate of philology U.B. Adilbayeva and senior lecturer G.A. Gaiipova organized an event "We are descendants of heroes" with first-year students of "Information technologies" faculty of KazNU and students of the Osh Kyrgyz-Uzbek University (Kyrgyzstan).

The event was dedicated to the Victory Day on May 9, in memory of the heroes of the war. Students of two universities made presentations about the life of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945. Students of the Faculty of Information Technology made presentations about the heroes of the Soviet Union: Baurzhan Momyzhuly, Rakhymzhan Koshkarbayev, Alia Moldagulova, Manshuk Mametova, Malik Gabdullin. Students of Osh Kyrgyz-Uzbek University told about their grandfathers Duishenkul Shopokov, Dair Asanov, Cholponbai Tuloberdiev, who participated in the Great Patriotic War.

The presentations were very interesting and informative, and each student was able to get something useful from this meeting. The meeting was organized on the ZOOM platform.
