« Alga bas, karyshta – Zhas ulan !» 

On April 20, 2021 at Al - Farabi KazNU, Faculty of Philology, Department of Foreign Languages: Associate Professor, candidate of philology U.B. Adilbayeva, senior lecturer G.A. Gaiipova and senior lecturer of Abai KazNPU Artikova E.U organized an event «Alga bas, karyshta – Zhas ulan !» with first-year students of Al - Farabi KazNU and Abai KazNPU.

The event was dedicated to the Day of the Defender of Kazakhstan, which is celebrated on May 7. The purpose of the event is to teach students to love their homeland, popularize valor, patriotism, and the national qualities of heroes who have shown courage.

Students of two universities prepared presentations on this holiday. They told about the history of the origin of this holiday. On May 7, 1992, by the Decree of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. Nazarbayev, in connection with the fundamentals of the legal rights of an independent country and the agreements reached between the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States, this day became the day of the creation of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In order to preserve the independence and integrity of the country, our soldiers serve and perform many functions, and our students would like to be among them.

The presentations were very interesting and informative, and each student was able to get something useful from this meeting. The meeting was organized on the ZOOM platform.
