On March 27, 2021, on the occasion of the 180th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding Kazakh educator, writer, ethnographer Ybyrai Altynsarin, a large online event was held in Kazakh and English on the topic "Ybyrai Altynsarin– the first teacher of the Kazakh steppe”, organized by senior teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology and World Languages: Duysenbayeva Sh. S. and Akylova G. S.

   On the online event was attended by 1st year students of the Faculty of Information Technology. The purpose of the event: to introduce the younger generation to the valuable, Ybyrai Altynsarin’s ideas in his work. Students took an active part in an online event dedicated to the Ybyrai Altynsarin’s 180th anniversary, who became the first great teacher of the Great Steppe. They were able to comprehend the valuable Ybyrai Altynsarin’s thoughts in the works that he left to the modern generation, as well as express the educational meaning of his deep thoughts. The event achieved its goal with the interested and active participation of students in understanding Ybyrai Altynsarin’s value judgments.
