Professors from the University of Minnesota, USA, visited Kazakh National University, department of Turkology and Language Theory. The visit aimed to enhance collaboration and learning between the two universities, marking an important step forward in their partnership.

During their time at Kazakh National University, the visiting professors engaged in discussions with KazNU professors and Ph.D students of "Foreign language: two foreign languages". Among the distinguished guests were Catherine Solheim, PhD, Professor and Director of Graduate Studies at the College of Education and Human Development (CEHD); John Vreyens, PhD, Director of Global Initiatives at University of Minnesota Extension; and Darren LaScotte, PhD, Teaching Specialist at the Minnesota English Language Program. Their diverse expertise brought valuable perspectives to the discussions, enriching the academic exchange.

Beyond the classroom, the professors explored the university's campus and library, immersing themselves in the vibrant atmosphere. Their visit highlighted the value of international cooperation in academia, promoting mutual learning and appreciation.

The importance of global collaboration in advancing knowledge and innovation is a key factor in the development of education. Professors of the department of “Turkology and Language Theory”, Dosanova Albina and Marina Zhambylkyzy completed a scientific internship in Minnesota University by the “Bolashak” program last year.
