On May 30, 2018 at 12:00 in the 233rd auditorium of Chemistry and Chemical Technology Faculty of Al-Farabi KazNU will host a presentation of the book "Mikhail Nauryzbaev" from the university series of books «Өнегелі өмір» (An exemplary life), dedicated to the life and work of the laureate of the State Prize of the RK Nauryzbayev Mikhail Kasimovich.

Nauryzbaev Mikhail Kasimovich (21.5.1942 of birth, Almaty) - Doctor of Technical Sciences (1992), Professor (1992), Honored Worker of Science of Kazakhstan (2000). He graduated KazGU (1965, now Al-Farabi KazNU). He worked as a research fellow at KazGU, held executive positions (1965-1988). Rector of the Kazakh Institute of Chemical Technology (1988-1991). Since 1993 - head of the department of al-Farabi KazNU and director of the Center for Physical and Chemical Methods of Research and Analysis (1994, 1995-2000 Dean of the Faculty of Chemistry). He defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic: "Development of the scientific basis of chemical and electrochemical methods for the isolation of metals with the use of surfactants." The main area of research is devoted to the technology of obtaining pure metals and alloys. The author of 5 monographs, more than 60 copyright certificates and patents. Laureate of the State Prize of Kazakhstan (2005).
