April 30, 2014 at 16.00 in the yard of the house № 17 student teachers of the department in honor of the 80th anniversary of Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi in the program " Aynalaңdy nұrlandyr " jointly organized with AGTSFZOZH marathon action called «Al-Farabi Smart City - Healthy City». Actively involving all clubs Department of General Linguistics and Foreign Languages and students of the Faculty of Philology , Literary Studies and World Languages . Share teacher opened the Faculty of Philology Medetbekova PT , Suleimenova SA , Boribaeva GA, assistant epidemiologist of prevention programs AGTSFZOZH Kordashova TK, Khusnutdinov RS Especially for this was purchased 3 pounds candy . During the rally organized : Participants came to the territory of the Treasury offered to passers- swap cigarettes for sweets , informed citizens about the dangers of tobacco distributed information and educational materials on tobacco, called for more attention to the passers-by to their health.

During the campaign made an interesting observation: the more people was not smoking, 35 people agreed to share, and the fewest refused. Nonsmoker passers sweets were distributed as a promotional prize, with the wishes of good mood and health. The event was attended by students of the Faculty of Philology , Literary Studies and mrovyh languages , students 1st year of the Faculty of History, Archeology and Ethnology , the entire faculty of the Department of General Linguistics and Foreign Languages .
Republican scientific - methodical seminar “Foreign languages: theory and practice of foreign language teaching”
On April 11, 2014 within the framework of events dedicated to the 80th anniversary of al-Farabi Kazakh National University there was a traditional Republican scientific - methodical seminar "Foreign languages: theory and practice of foreign language teaching" for school teachers and university professors. It was organized by the Department of General Linguistics and Foreign Phylology under the guidance of the head of the department Professor Madieva G.B.
More than100 secondary school and university teachers took part in the seminar: Zhautykov Republican Specialized Physics and Mathematics Secondary Boarding School (RSPMSBS) for gifted children, school gymnasium № 68, № 35, school-lyceum № 146 and the International School "Miras", KazNTU, KIMEP, Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, Kazakh State Women's Teacher Training University, International University of Information Technologies, The Academy of the NSC of the RK, etc. Discussion of the differences between educational - methodical manuals and textbooks, guidelines for compiling teaching material became the subject of a master class of Professor Zh. K. Ibrayeva. Docent Turumbetova L.A. shared the experience of using the E-learning technology in the al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Associate professor Dzharasova T.T. and Sabitova G. the 3rd year student of the specialty "Foreign language: two foreign languages" presented the results of their joint work on science project. Coordinator DAAD, Jacob Hedderih informed the participants of the seminar about opportunities of education and scientific research in Germany.

A teacher of German from school 68, Rakhmatullina A. S., a holder of a scholarship of exchange educational program PAD, Germany, told about the program and her own experience of studying abroad. The representatives of Macmillan and InterPress in Kazakhstan conducted training seminars on the theme "Learning skills" and "Classroom management". Teachers and professors took an active part in various practical activities and business games. April 3rd, 2014 at 14.30 passed Republican intercollegiate intellectual competition "Best linguist 2014 " in the framework of the club "Young linguists " Department of General Linguistics and Foreign Languages . Competition dedicate the 80th anniversary of the al -Farabi. The competition involved students 3 courses Treasury , KazNPU , CDS KazGZhPU , KazUIR & WL . The competition consisted of a 7- tours " tanystyru ", " Shirat ", " bәyge " , "test ", " kөkpar ", " polyglot ", "face to faces" Guests and members of the jury were A.Fazylzhanova, A.,Halbekov, S. Urkimbaev, E.D. Suleimenova , G.B. Madieva , A. Turmahanbetova, etc. They are not only students but also assessed the participants were awarded prizes. During November and December 2013 advisers of department of the Russian philology , Russian and world literature E.R. Kogan and I.Y. Yuritsyna held an essay contest called "My legendary university " dedicated to the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi . The competition was attended by students of the 1st , 2nd , 3rd courses and undergraduates of the 2nd year of the specialty on " Russian language and literature " and " Philology: Russian Philology ." More than 20 papers were presented. |
