STUDENTS IN FREE ENTERPRISE

SIFE (Students In Free Enterprise - Students in Free Enterprise ) - is a large-scale international student program that provides participants with an opportunity to implement creative and innovative projects in the field of teaching economics, free enterprise, business population of the city, district or region.

International SIFE program developed since 1975 and is currently the largest non-governmental organization whose purpose is to teach the principles and values of the market economy in 47 countries.

In Kazakhstan, there is a movement of SIFE since 1996. First team in the country had a team of al-Farabi Kazakh National University, which became the national champion three times. In 2001 in London SIFE team of Kazakh National University won prize rocky of the year

OBJECTIVE of SIFE

Help people achieve their dreams through education in the field of free enterprise.

MISSION OF SIFE

Enable students to: Develop leadership skills, master the art of communication, learn to work in teams, learning by practicing and teaching others the principles of market economy and free enterprise.

PROJECTS AND AUDIENCE OF SIFE

As part of the SIFE student teams develop and implement projects for training of different groups the basic concepts, ideas, laws of market economy and free enterprise, and the ability to navigate in a free market economy .

Implementing their projects, participants SIFE program information and conduct orientation seminars for students, academics, heads of educational institutions, civil services workers, employees of companies .

By agreement with business organizations hold special contests SIFE, giving the possibility to use the ability of students participating in the SIFE, to develop new projects and development stakeholders.

In special projects business leaders have an opportunity through direct contact with the students spend familiarize students with the basic benefits of working in their organizations, and select potential employees for their firms.

Any projects that contribute to :

- Enterprise development, understanding the ideas of free market economy;

- More efficient operation of business firms and the use of labor resources;

- Active economic development of the region and increase the standard of living in a market economy;

- Increase of moral responsibility and ethical behavior by market participants

Participation in projects SIFE program helps to:
