   I, Aliaskar Zhansaya Nurlanbekkyzy, in the 1st semester of the 2022-2023 academic year, studied at Osmangazi University, Eskisehir, the Republic of Turkey under a bilateral agreement from the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Turks. The training was entirely in Turkish. This was a lot of practice for me. During the learning process, I translated the articles “Менің Отаным - Қазақстан”,  “Қазақ киносы әлемдік кинонарыққа шыға алады ма?”; handed over abstracts on the topic “Әдебиеттің адам өмірінде маңызы”, “Казахская литература - поэзия кочевого народа».

   In general, this trip gave me a lot of unforgettable moments, knowledge and friends from different parts of the world. Moreover, I became much more independent and confident in myself and in my plans for the future. It was a great pleasure to live in another country, to receive knowledge from native speakers, to live in an environment of another culture. It is important to remember that studying abroad is never easy. This requires a lot of work and effort. However, the reward is a future with excellent opportunities. That is why I believe that every student should take advantage of such a wonderful opportunity that our university provides.

   I want to express my deep gratitude to my university and the department of Turksoy for the unique opportunity that helped me expand the horizons of my knowledge. In the end, I would like to wish everyone who is going under the academic mobility program to any university success in their studies. The department of academic mobility at the University of KazNU provides great opportunities for studying in various parts of the world.

Our students at the University of Pamukkale

In the 1st semester of the 2022-2023 academic year, we studied at the University of Pamukkale, Denizli, the Republic of Turkey under a bilateral agreement from the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Turksoy. We were assigned to the Faculty of Humanism, the Department of History and the Department of Modern Turkic Languages.      In general, the business trip gave a lot of experience in learning the Turkish language and culture. We studied the history of the Ottoman Empire, the history of the Turkish Republic, the history of modern Turkic countries, international relations and foreign policy, the basics of the Turkish language, the Ottoman Turkish language, the vocabulary of the Turkish language, the phonetics of the Turkish language, the translation of the Kazakh-Turkish text, the Turkish language. The training took place entirely in Turkish. It was a huge experience in the development of our language education. During our studies, we performed a lot of tasks, that is, we worked on improving the Turkish language, studied the Ottoman language and tried to study regularly. All the teachers had extensive experience and were experts in their fields. It was very interesting to live in another country, to live in an environment of a different culture, to constantly meet new people. The purpose of this visit was to improve the knowledge and skills of the Turkish language and in our opinion, it was successfully carried out. A foreign educational trip gives students a great opportunity to express themselves, get acquainted with another educational system, and see interesting places of another country. We also collected the necessary data for writing a thesis, when all the teachers needed help, they helped as much as they could.      The Consulate of Kazakhstan opened in the city where our university is located, that is, in Denizli, and we became guests of the opening ceremony. Also, to participate in the presidential elections, we visited Ankara, organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ankara. December 16 - Independence Day we celebrated together with Kazakh students.

Students Of Turksoy Department at the Language Training At Omer Halisdemir University, Nigde, Turkey. 2019 y. 

In the 2nd semester of the 2018-2019 academic year under a bilateral agreement by the Department of TURKSOY faculty of the East KazNU.al-Arabial-Farabi was sent for language training at the University Omer Halisdemir, the city of Nigde, Turkey. We studied at the University in the Department of modern Turkic languages, fluent in Turkish, studied its history and literature. Here we participated in classes on ancient Orkhon history, introduction of Turkic languages and history of Turkish language. In these classes, we learned a lot of information that we can use in writing diploma and scientific work. This internship deepened their knowledge and increased their motivation for the profession. In addition, Turkey took part in various events dedicated to the celebration of Nauryz. For participation in such events we were awarded a special award "Bozkurt", that is Kokturk. We Express our gratitude to the curator G.K. Temenova and the staff of the Department, who became the reason for our study abroad, the realization of our dreams, as well as received various awards.

Students Of Turksoy Department at the Language Training At Ankara University, Turkey. 2018-2019.

In the academic year 2018-2019, four students of the TURKSOY Department of Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi Yestemis A., Suleimenova A., Kurmangaliyeva A., Khanalieva S., having shown excellent academic success, as well as actively participating in the life of the university, thanks to such teachers as Temenova G.K., were able to go to Turkey the city of Ankara for one academic semester under the program of a bilateral agreement between Ankara University and KazNU named after al-Farabi.

Today, the Turkish education system is one of the highest quality and recognized worldwide.

Ankara University was founded in 1946 in the city of Ankara. The opening of the university was initiated by the great politician, the first president of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk. The territory of the university includes five campuses located in different parts of the city.

At the moment, the university has 18 faculties. The students of our university had a chance to study at the faculty of “Language and History-Geography”, where under the auspices of such professors as Aysu Ata, Bilal Çakıcı, Murat Küçük, they gained new knowledge and unforgettable experience.

Along with scientific symposia and conferences, students of KazNU also took part in the cultural life of the university.

Also, students were given places in the student dormitory and had the opportunity to attend TÖMER language courses free of charge, in order to improve Turkish language skills, creating a comfortable student life in a new environment.
