1.To have the skills to analyze the relationship of the integral system of obtained knowledge, and systematic understanding of the processes and general trends in the development of modern international relations to form the necessary set of knowledge and professional skills in the field of foreign policy and international relations, foreign language skills in future practice
2.To form a systematic, comprehensive vision of modern problems of international relations in the context of the paradigm of theories of international relations, to critically evaluate and compare various theories and concepts about the trends in the development of global and local processes in world politics, using knowledge of foreign languages
3.To have the skills to use the methodology of modern theories and concepts of international relations, to integrate the problems of global and regional level of world politics with the use of methods of research of economic and political trends in the framework of research activities
4.To have the skills of a systematic understanding of global trends based on knowledge of the key aspects of the transformation of the global structure, also to be able to conduct applied analysis and forecasting of processes in the field of international cooperation. Also, one has to be able to solve practical problems in the course of professional activities in state and non-state structures.
5.To be able to apply the methodology of modern theories and methods of political forecasting in the analysis of modern global problems, also it is crutual to have the skills of scenario-analytical forecasting in the analysis of the geopolitical interests of leading actors in various international situations in professional expert-analytical activities applying psychological knowledge and skills
6.To be able to synthesize up-to-date system knowledge and methodologies for a systematic understanding of the processes taking place in the field of global, regional and national security, and competently apply the acquired knowledge to make recommendations to the relevant agencies also assess the effectiveness of key approaches in managing the organization.
7.To analyze the main security challenges and threats at different levels, to develop current research tasks on global and regional security issues, based on a strategic analysis of new security dimensions, to be able to apply appropriate methods of studying and predict ways to solve them within the framework of professional activities.
8.The ability to apply scientific knowledge and knowledge of research methodology in the framework of professional activity: to have the skills of critical analysis and comparison of various scientific theories in the analysis of current events in world politics; to assess the economic and social risks of political decision-making, taking into account the main trends of sustainable development; to possess the skills of predictive analysis of the activities of leading world actors in the context of the transformation of the global structure.
9.To formalize the results of scientific research in the format of articles, master's theses, analytical reports, expert assessments on the basis of theoretical approaches of modern international relations. To use the acquired knowledge, critical analysis skills for the development and application of original ideas in the context of independent scientific research
