Upon completion of this educational program, it is expected that undergraduates will be able to:
1. Gradually solve the problems associated with the scientific tasks of their research; to study problems in the field of management and marketing and use the results to improve management methods.
2. To analyze the work practices of leading domestic and foreign journalists of the corresponding profile in order to improve professional qualifications.
3. To analyze the information necessary for the development of a media project, to determine the information niche, problematic and thematic areas, the “agenda” relevant to the media, the target audience, etc .; analyze the progress of the media project.
4. Develop a concept, models, publication format, programs, headings, columns, as well as other types of media projects; participate in the current and future planning of the media.
5. Apply legal norms, scientific methods of cognition in professional activities; critically analyze existing concepts, theories and approaches to the study of processes and phenomena; integrate the knowledge gained in different disciplines, use them to solve analytical and managerial tasks in new unfamiliar conditions.
6. Participate in discussions on professional issues; engage the audience in the journalistic process; analyze factual material and create journalistic work on its basis.
7. To think creatively and creatively to solve new problems and situations; to carry out information-analytical and information-bibliographic work with the involvement of modern information technologies; summarize the results of experimental research and analytical work in the form of a dissertation, article, report, analytical note, etc.
8. Determine the relevance of the master's research; research goals and objectives; select and substantiate the appropriate research methodology; evaluate and interpret the results.
9. Create educational and research interdisciplinary projects: develop implementation scenarios, reasonably predict results and conclusions.
10. Conduct research using methods of sociometry, questionnaires, testing team effectiveness; submit projects together with other participants of the developed scientific research.
11. Generate innovative ideas, put forward independent hypotheses; to build trajectories of professional improvements.
12. Develop prognostic scenarios and models for the development of communicative and sociocultural situations; draw up the main results and conclusions of the research project, present the results of the work (in the form of reports, articles, with the involvement of modern printing and editing tools) to correlate own interests with social and ethical values, and also with the interests of the team; be fluent in the language parameters of professional competence.
