Zaure Gainetdin-kizy AYTASHEVA
Dr. Zaure Gainetdin-kizy AYTASHEVA, Chair of the Department of Genetics and Molecular Biology.
Defended Ph.D. thesis in 1987, D.Sc. thesis in 2004. Published nearly 150 proceedings including a book, 4 textbooks, 6 patents and pre-patents. Dr. Aytasheva has been the holder of Alexander von Humboldt (Germany, 1995-1997) and Senator William J. Fulbright (USA, 2000-2001) fellowships. She has founded and was the first President-Elect of Fulbright Association of Kazakhstan (2002-03). Z.G. Aytasheva is the Secretary of Kazakhstani Alexander von Humboldt Club (since 2002).
Dr. Aytasheva runs the research projects on "The Investigation of Rigid Pubescence Cells of Wheat" and "The enrichment of the phabaceous (beans) germplasm" as supervises post-graduates and Ph.D. fellows, currently from Kazakhstan and Egypt.
