Abdildin Meyrhan Mubarakovich

Abdildin Meyrhan Mubarakovich - theoretical physicist, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (1985), Professor (1987), academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Kazakhstan (2003). Graduated from S.M. Kirov KazSU (1959). Head of the Department of Theoretical Physics, Kazakh State University (1970-1981, 1986-1993) and Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (1993-2008). KazSU Rector (1988-1991).

The main research directions: the theory of relativity and gravitation, the organizer of the priority directions of fundamental research in “Theoretical Physics" in the Republic of Kazakhstan, the head of basic research program "Theoretical studies of gravitational, electromagnetic, strong and weak interactions" and the research project “Application of the ideas of general relativity, quantum, nonequilibrium thermodynamics and gravimagnetizm in planetary cosmogony" in the Ministry of Education and Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Author of more than 200 articles and three monographs. Member of the Presidium of the Russian Gravitational Society. He was awarded "Kurmet" and gold medal "Al-Farabi.

President of the first in Kazakhstan, the Council for the Protection of doctoral theses D.14/A.01.01 degree in “Theoretical Physics", one of the founders of the Research Institute of Experimental and Theoretical Physics at al-Farabi KazNU, where he headed the department of theoretical physics.

Kozhamkulov Tolegen Abdisagievich - theoretical physicist, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (1987), Professor (1989), academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2008). Graduated from S.M. Kirov KazSU (1967). Head of the Department of Theoretical Physics, Kazakh State University (1981-1986). Rector of the KazNU (2001-2008). He has more than 100 published works. In 2007 he was awarded the Order of the Parasat.

Research interests: Stochastic quantization on lattices in quantum chromodynamics. Courses: "Quantum chromodynamics".

Abishev Medeu Erzhanovich - Chair of Theoretical Physics. He graduated from Al-Farabi KazNU (1998). Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (2001), Associate Professor. Thesis "Justification, integration and study of equations of rotational motion, obtained by Fock in the case of the two rotating bodies in general relativity.

His research interests today: The problem of motion of bodies in general relativity, relativistic astrophysics. Courses: "Methods of Mathematical Physics", "Relativistic Astrophysics", "Selected Chapters of Theoretical Physics". He has more than 80 scientific publications.

Baktybaev Kyrgyzbay Baktybaevich graduated from S.M. Kirov KazSU (1954). Doctor of Phys.-Math Sciences, Professor. Prepared 2 doctors and 7 candidates of Phys.-Math Sciences.

Research interests: Structure of the nuclear states and many-particle systems. Quantum Theory of Solids. Quantum theory of many-particle systems. He has more than 200 published papers in foreign and domestic publishing houses. Many times a speaker in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev and other cities of the CIS, Paris, Istanbul. His students work in Abai KazNPU, Taraz State University, Agricultural Academy in Astana. Won a grant of the Ministry of Education and Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan "The best teacher” in 2009.

Murzagaliev Ginayat Zhumabaevich - Ph.D. in Physics and Mathematics, Professor. Basic Education: Kazakh State University, Department of Physics (1955). On the theoretical physics department he is working from the 1955/56 academic year. He has more than 100 published papers and 7 teaching aids.

His research interests today: Relativistic cosmology, relativistic electrodynamics.

Imambekov Onlasyn - candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, professor. He graduated from the Faculty of Physics of KazSU. Won a grant of the Ministry of Education and Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan "The best teacher” in 2007, team leader of Kazakhstan in international competitions in physics.
