The republican contest "Kemel Qalamger" is announced for the 100^th anniversary of the prominent writer, the founder of the Kazakh detective genre Kemel Tokayev.

The event is held in order to support the works of local authors writing in the genre of detective and legal topics. Works in the following categories are accepted for the competition:

1) literary work in the detective genre;

2) analytical and journalistic article on a legal topic/ research.

Works that have not been published before are allowed to participate in the competition.

Applications are accepted from May 22-August 22, 2023.
