Dear professors and students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University,

I sincerely congratulate you on May 1 – The Day of Unity of the People of Kazakhstan!

This holiday has a special place for our independent country, which bears the name of peace and tranquility.

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev speaking at the XXXII session of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan emphasized the following:

"The independence and territorial integrity of our country is more valuable than anything else.

The unity of the country should stand on a par with these unwavering values.

Only then our future will be successful.

Peace and harmony should be glorified not only in state policy, but also in society and at home, in general, everywhere.

This should not be a bare slogan, but a daily position of every citizen".

This words should always be in our memory.

Unity and harmony are the values that our people managed to preserve even in the most difficult times.

Thanks to mutual respect, unity and creative work, we managed to strengthen the foundations of the country, achieve significant success in the economy, education and culture.

zakhstan has now become a strong country with an unshakable commitment to social harmony and amicable relations.

The staff of KazNU also makes special contribution to the establishment of understanding and harmony in the country.

The teaching staff of KazNU employs more than 200 representatives of different nationalities.

Let us express our great ideals, which are united in the formation of a new, fair Kazakhstan, like the children of one house.
