The women's national team of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University "Squirrels KazNU" became the Basketball Champion in the National Student League 2022-2023.

The KazNU team is the current champion and defended their title of champions in the city of Atyrau, where the final stage of the national Student League of Kazakhstan took place.

The rivals of the team "Squirrels KazNU" were the women's national teams of KazAST, Ahmet Yesevi University , Atyrau University named after S.Dosmukhamedov, etc. The team consisted of: the team captain Beibitova Madina, Yugai Julia, Pritskau Diana, Hasenova Diana, Tursynova Lyazzat, Suleimenova Aruzhan, Azimova Veronika, Salieva Malika, Rahman Aziza.

Upon arrival, the team members will be intensively preparing for the Summer Universiade.
