The Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuymebaev held a meeting with foreign professors and scientists teaching at our university. The meeting was attended by scientists from almost 30 countries of the world online and offline.

Welcoming the audience, Zhanseit Tuymebaev informed the scientists about the development of cooperation between KazNU and foreign universities.

“Bilateral agreements and cooperation agreements have been signed with 550 universities and research centers in 50 countries of the world. This year more than 100 foreign professors and scientists teach at the university. More than 70 of them were invited on the initiative of the university. 29 teachers were involved under the program of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan. ", - said the rector.

In addition, the head of the university noted that the involvement of foreign specialists in the educational process will raise the quality of education to a new level. To this end, the university has negotiated with leading educational centers in the world. Thanks to this, at present, foreign professors conduct lectures for students, undergraduates and doctoral students on modern methods and techniques of teaching.

During the meeting, Professor of the Ataturk Institute in Turkey Mehmet Dervish, Doctor of the University of Tsukuba in Japan Ninomiya Takashi, Professor of Hankuk University in Korea Lee Beng Jo, Professor of the University of Sheffield in the UK Bazbek Davletov, Professor of the University of Geneva in Switzerland Akkari Abdyjalil, scientist at McGill University in Canada Nurlan Dauletbaev put forward their proposals for the development of bilateral partnership and expressed their readiness to share their knowledge and experience.

At the end of the meeting, Zhanseit Tuymebaev called on scientists and professors to send a plan for the further development of cooperation between KazNU and foreign universities. Also, the rector of the university called on all scientists to give leadership lectures and share their experiences with students. In addition, the head of the university noted that such meetings will now be held on a regular basis and conveyed warm greetings to the heads of foreign universities.
