The products produced by the publishing house of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University were presented at the XVI International Book Exhibition in Ankara.

The opening ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Grand National Mazhilis of Turkey Mustafa Shentop, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Turkey Abzal Saparbekuly, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, Professor Adil Akhmetov, local poets, writers and publishers.

Kazakhstan was invited this year as a guest country to the fair, which brought together more than 300 large publishing houses, printing houses and advertising agencies in Turkey. And the publishing house "Kazakh University" for the first time got the opportunity to present its products in a large-scale project. According to the organizers, more than 350 thousand book lovers will visit the weekly exhibition.

Among the collections presented by Al-Farabi KazNU are "Diplomacy of the Republic of Kazakhstan", "Foreign Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan" by the head of state K. K. Tokayev, works of Al-Farabi, books from the series of Abay studies, akyn Suyunbai, collected works of Zhambyl Zhabayev in 2 volumes and scientific works of university teachers.

At the opening ceremony, the documentary book of the Head of State K.K. Tokayev "He makes history" (translated by M. Otarbayev) in Turkish, dedicated to the activities of the First President of Kazakhstan - Elbasy Nursultan Nazarbayev.
