Dear first-year students!

Congratulations on your successful enrollment in the best university in Kazakhstan - Al-Farabi Kazakh National University! You made the right choice! we would like to introduce you closer to the university on a specially designed program of orientation and LEADERSHIP and UNIVERSITY LIFE. This program was developed by the Department of Academic Affairs at the best practices of world universities. The program is designed to help you quickly and easily adapt to a new life in the KNU.

Your training will begin from August 22, 2011 with the orientation program. Orientation program the first day includes meeting with deans, advisors, and lecture on "Introduction to the orientation program". Then you start to pass tests for foreign language, attend a course of lectures "Academic politics of university", "Code of honor student ", "System" Uni". As part of orientation week and the Business Career Center will hold training on "Leadership" and will acquaint students with the activities of the international student organizations SIFE. Also at the Student union organized a course "Introduction to student life", the presentation of student organization, the Committee of Youth Organizations and selection of creative young people to participate in subsequent competitions and events of the university.

All first-year students, an urgent need to visit the advisors in the departments in order to obtain individual counseling for orientation week, registering a "Univer", obtaining student ID cards, etc.
