Chairman of the Board - Rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev received the President of the Center for International Programs JSC Ainur Karbozova. The parties discussed issues of effective cooperation and considered ways of its further development.

During the meeting, the head of the university spoke about the achievements and prospects for the development of the university. KazNU is the only university in the Central Asian region that has received "5 stars" superiority in the international rating "QS Stars Rating System". The leading university conducts research in the field of natural sciences and successfully implements innovative projects.

The university has eight research institutes and about 30 research centers. Specialists of the Earth Remote Sensing Center master space technologies and develop competitive projects. The head of KazNU noted other achievements of the educational institution, which proved its leading position in the world educational space, and expressed interest in training not only bachelors, masters and doctoral students, but also scientists and teachers abroad under the Bolashak program.

In turn, the head of the center said that on the instructions of the President of the country, from this year, 500 Kazakhstani scientists will undergo training abroad at the expense of the state. In her speech, Ainur Karbozova spoke about the advantages and new opportunities of the Bolashak international scholarship. In particular, she focused on the category of scientists and highlighted the benefits of the program.

According to the head of the Center for International Programs, the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan pays special attention to the practical relevance of the research topics of scientists. Therefore, applicants should pay attention to the importance of the research direction of the internship in Kazakhstan.

In addition, a number of changes have been made on the terms of labor service. For example, working off after training in doctoral and magistracy in three cities of republican significance is five years, three years - in the regions.
