A solemn presentation of diplomas to undergraduates was at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology of Al-Farabi KazNU.

Being one of 11 Universities selected for the implementation of the state policy on personnel support of SPIID-II, the University began training on state orders for technical specialties in 2015. This year 80 specialists graduated from KazNU with an academic degree «Master of Chemistry» in the specialties «Chemical Technology of Inorganic Substances», «Chemical Technology of Organic Substances», «Petrochemistry», «Oil and Gas Business» and «Nanotechnologies and Nanomaterials», which are in high demand for the economy of our country.

Addressing graduates, KazNU’s Assistant Rector for Academic Affairs, Askar Hikmetov emphasized a special mission assigned to each young specialist trained in the framework of educational graduate programs of SPIID and starting their career at enterprises of the real sector of the economy. He noted that during their study, graduates received training in special educational programs developed by teachers and representatives of production, the content of which is maximally integrated and close to the demands of industry enterprises.

«Our graduates are specialists with an academic Master's degree, these are competent specialists of the new formation, who are able to work with modern devices and equipment, as well as generate new ideas aimed at improving and modernizing the existing technological cycle in enterprises», - said Dean of the Faculty, H.S.Tashibekov, referring to the youth. According to the previously concluded Tripartite Agreement (student - University - enterprise) on providing for subsequent employment, all graduates will work at enterprises of real sector of the economy.

We wish them to fully realize their potential and success in their work for the benefit of the development of Kazakhstan.
