A modern canteen has opened in the Student Service Center (DSP) "Keremet" of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in the Small Kurultai of Kazakhs "Zhagandanu Urkenietindegi Kazak Alemi", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of Kazakhstan, which took place in Turkey (Istanbul).

The Al-Farabi Library hosted a leadership lecture on the topic "The role of modern youth in building and maintaining peace" with the participation of the representative of the UN Department of Global Communications and the head of the UN Information Office in Kazakhstan Vlastimil Samek.

On September 30, 2021, at 11.00 o'clock, the Chairman of the Board-Rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Kanseituly Tuimebayev will hold a reporting meeting online.

Yesterday, during a working trip, I visited schools and universities in the city of Almaty. I met with teachers, school directors, rectors of universities subordinate to the Ministry of Education and Science and heads of research institutes.

At the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, members of the Board of Directors Armanzhan Baytasov and Gulmira Eleuova visited and got acquainted with the campus development plan. 

A meeting of the Chairman of the Board - Rector Zhanseit Tuimebayev with representatives of Russian universities - Izhevsk State Technical University (ISTU) and Novosibirsk State University (NSU) was held at Al-Farabi KazNU. 

QS Quacquarelli Symonds, an international analytical agency in the field of higher education, published today an annual report on the impact of university choice on the employment prospects of graduates. As a result of the conducted research, the ranking of the best universities in the world by the employability of graduates of QS 2022 was compiled – QS Graduate Employability Rankings 2022 – an independent list of the best educational institutions in the world for students focused on career achievements. Three Kazakh universities are included in the final published table, which contains the 550 best higher education institutions in terms of post-graduate employment opportunities.
