The purpose of the educational program 

To provide training of competitive specialists with systemic knowledge and skills in the field of pharmacy, capable of generating innovations, implementing best practices in the development and circulation of medicines and medical devices

Learning Outcomes  

Upon completion of this educational program, students are expected to be able to:

ON1. Integrate knowledge of fundamental sciences and advanced technologies to solve problems in the development, production and circulation of medicines and medical devices, including modern approaches to the use of nanotechnology;

ON2. Identify counterfeit, substandard and counterfeit medicines;

ON3. Conduct independent research based on the analysis of scientific data, trends in the development of the industry and a critical understanding of their prospects in terms of improving pharmaceutical practice;

ON4. To carry out documentation support provided in the field of development, production and circulation of medicines, in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Appropriate pharmaceutical practices;

ON5. Critically apply knowledge in the field of marketing research of subjects and objects of the pharmaceutical market;

ON6. Critically apply modern management concepts and tools in order to achieve the success of the organization and its own professional activities;

ON7. Monitor, analyze and evaluate the quality, effectiveness and safety in the development, production and circulation of medicines and medical devices, including developments using nanotechnology;

ON8. Demonstrate management, planning, financial accounting and reporting skills in the subjects of the sphere of circulation of medicines and medical devices;

ON9. To provide information and advisory assistance and control on the issues of ensuring the rational use and use of medicines and medical devices;

ON10. To demonstrate leadership qualities, innovation and independence in work, educational and scientific activities in new contexts that require solving problems related to a variety of interrelated factors;

ON11. To organize a student-oriented educational process with appropriate methodological support within its competence, subject area and educational standards of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

ON12. Effectively exchange information in various contexts of professional and interpersonal communication, appropriately using professional terminology and various communication channels.
