Admission to study is carried out according to educational programs of higher (bachelor's) and postgraduate education (master's, doctoral studies), included in the Register of educational programs of the Center for the Bologna Process and Academic Mobility of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Upon admission, students are enrolled in the EP from the GEP according to a personal statement. Advice to students on the choice of an educational program is provided by faculty consultants at the University Admissions Committee during the period from August 10 to 25 of the calendar year.

The University, in accordance with subparagraph 6) of paragraph 2 of Article 43-1 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Education", determines the passing score for applicants, taking into account the specifics of the direction of training. Applicants who have scored a passing threshold score established by the University are allowed to enroll.

 Admission requirements

Persons with general secondary, technical and vocational, post-secondary, higher education are admitted to educational programs of higher education of the University.

To participate in the competition for the award of an educational grant of higher education at the expense of the republican budget or the local budget and (or) enrollment in paid education, persons with secondary, technical and vocational or post-secondary education are allowed, with the exception of those entering related areas of training of higher education personnel, providing for reduced training periods, who have passed the Unified National Testing (UNT) and scored the established passing score based on its results. At the same time, for each subject of the UNT, it is necessary to score at least 5 points.

Persons with certificates of international standardized tests SAT, ACT, IB participate in the competition for the award of an educational grant and (or) are enrolled in a paid department, in accordance with the points transfer scale. The conversion of SAT scores to UNT scores is subject to the availability of SAT Reasoning and SAT Subject certificates, while to convert the results of the SAT Subject to UNT scores, the profile subjects must match.

The University, in accordance with subparagraph 6) of paragraph 2 of Article 43-1 of the Law "On Education", determines the passing score for applicants, consider the specifics of the direction of training, with the exception of applicants belonging to the following categories specified in paragraphs 8 and 9 of Article 26 of the Law "On Education »:

children from single-parent families who have this status for at least three years;

children from families raising children with disabilities since childhood, disabled people of I, II groups.

Applicants who have scored a passing threshold score established by the University are allowed to enroll.

Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan with technical and vocational, post-secondary education are admitted to study under educational programs of higher education, which provide for reduced terms of study.

Admission of persons with technical and vocational or post-secondary education with the qualification of "mid-level specialist" or "applied bachelor" in related areas of training of higher education personnel, providing for reduced terms of study on a paid basis, is carried out by the University Admissions Committee based on an interview.

Admission of persons with higher education to educational programs with a reduced period of study on a paid basis is carried out by the Admissions Committee of the University on the basis of a competition of documents. At the same time, admission is carried out according to the approved list of educational programs.

The admission of foreign citizens according to the allocated quota on the basis of an educational grant in accordance with interstate agreements is carried out by the University independently.

Upon admission to study at the University, an admission quota is provided in the amount approved by the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated February 28, 2012 No. 264 “On approval of the size of the admission quota for admission to study in educational organizations that implement educational programs of technical and vocational, post-secondary and higher education” .

Admission of persons entering the University is carried out on the basis of the submitted application on a competitive basis in accordance with the points of the standard certificate, in the form approved by the order of the Acting Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 23, 2007 No. 502 "On approval of the form of documents of strict accountability used by educational organizations in educational activities ”(registered in the Register of State Registration of Normative Legal Acts under No. 4991) and (or) an electronic certificate with unique data of the applicant, officially confirming the results of the UNT, published on the website of the National Testing Center (hereinafter referred to as the UNT certificate).
