On November 23, 2022, the Department of UNESCO for Sustainable Development of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Department of Chemical Technology and Ecology of the University. Shakarima G. Semey and the educational program "6B11201- "Life safety and environmental protection" were held in the online format of an interuniversity round table on the topic "Life safety issues". The round table was organized by the teachers of two departments M.M. Abdibattayeva, Bazarbayeva T.A., Kabysheva Zh.K., Imamova B.Zh.

The purpose of the round table is to develop motivation for organizing, conducting and implementing research to identify and solve problems in the field of life safety among undergraduates and undergraduate students.

The main directions of theoretical and applied research conducted by the departments in the field of life safety; to consider methodological approaches to preparing students for educational and research activities in the field of life safety; to consider the features of training undergraduates and bachelors for the design and implementation of research on life safety.

Bachelor's students of 1-4 courses and undergraduates on issues of natural and man-made emergencies, measures for their occurrence and prevention, ensuring labor and environmental safety, fire safety at enterprises got acquainted with the results of their research work, shared practical research and practical skills on "methods and techniques of first aid".

During the round table, students of both universities expressed interest in research work, expressed interest in providing comprehensive security. The round table was interesting and productive. According to the results of the round table "Ensuring environmental safety from atmospheric air pollution" S. Bolat, 1st year undergraduate student of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University; "Mudflow-prone territories of Abai region and measures to ensure protection from mudflow floods" Umirbek Almas Dauletovna, 4th year student, po-901 Shakarim Semey University; "Application of information technologies in ensuring safety in the technosphere" S. Sabit, 1st-year undergraduate student of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University; "Analysis of sources and factors of industrial enterprise accidents" D. Izmaganova, 4th-year student, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University; "Methods and techniques of first aid" Adil Asyl, Burakhanova Aktoty, 4th-year student the course, the work of undergraduates and students of Shakarim University in Semey was assessed as relevant, research-practice-oriented work and aimed at it was proposed to continue.

It was decided that such interuniversity round tables would promote cooperation in the training of qualified specialists, joint research work between students, undergraduates and teaching staff, and that such cooperation events in various formats should be organized with universities of Kazakhstan and universities of the far and near abroad and will have a promising continuation www.kaznu.kz, www.shakarim.edu.kz.
