International confernce "ABDILDIN READINGS - 2023"

At the Faculty of Physics and Technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, an international conference on the topic of of modern physics "Abdildin Readings" was held, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of one of the outstanding physicists of Kazakhstan, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Abdildin Meyrhan Mubarakovich.
Meyrkhan Abdildin was born in 1938 in Altai. Meyrhan Mubarakovich was an encyclopedic scientist. He graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of S. M. Kirov Kazakh State University. In 1966 he defended his PhD thesis at the Leningrad State University named after A.A. Zhdanov. From 1970 to 2008 he was the head of the Department of Theoretical Physics of KazGU. In 1989 Meyrhan Mubarakovich won the election of a rector, for the first time in the history of KazGU, and was the rector of the university until 1991. He was awarded the Order of Honor, the title of Honored Worker of Kazakhstan.
