2nd year master students of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology in the specialty "Biotechnology" from 17 to 31 January passed a research internship at the Niğde Ömer Halisdemir Üniversitesi, Nigde, Turkey. The base internship is the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technology named after Aikhan Shahenk, Department of Agricultural Genetic Engineering.

Students got acquainted with the research activities of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technology.

During the internship: According to the methods of anatomical and histochemical study of plant tissues, we got acquainted with the prospects of using methods of genetic engineering in agriculture, and in the laboratory were engaged in "Basic methods of seed selection".

The Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Technology named after Aikhan Shahenka is the first and only faculty in Turkey, which provides 100% training in English in the field of agriculture.
