The meeting with the head of the “Turk Dil Kurumu” founded by Atatürk at KazNU

 Doctor of philological sciences, professor Gurer Gulsevin visited the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Dean of the faculty Paltore Yktiyar, the head of the Turksoy Department Umit Kydyrbayeva, teachers, professors, students, undergraduates, doctoral students met dear guests and had a conversation on topic "Common problems of Turkic languages and using them in nowadays ". The head of the “Turk Dil Kurumu” was acquainted with the work of the faculty, its goals and tasks. He also explained the requirements for publication of articles in Turkish magazines published in Ankara. Undergraduates and PhD students asked questions not only about organization but also the current status and prospects of Turkic languages as well.

Doctor of Philology Nadir Ilhan  Professor of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature of the Turkish University of Kyrshehir participated at the meeting. He gave information about his university, and he talked about effective ways to establish relations between the two universities.

The meeting was held at a high level. Students of the faculty thanked Turkish scientists for coming.
