On the ZOOM platform, an open curatorial hour "Tauelsizdik-tygrym" was held with 3rd year students of the specialty "Life Safety and Environmental Protection" of the UNESCO Sustainable Development Chair of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences.

           The purpose of the curatorial hour is to increase the love of students for their homeland, to educate a generation in the spirit of patriotism, defending their country and land, telling about the independence that our ancestors have been striving for for centuries.

           During the curatorial hour, students spoke about the intelligentsia of the nation, yearning for freedom and freedom of the country, and told about the December uprising, recalling the victims of the December events. With the help of documentaries and photographs, they showed that the beginning of independence was the event of the December uprising. A student of the group Kulzhan Baglan sang a song on a dombra dedicated to the heroes of December, Karkynkyzy Bota, Bolat Aigerim, Mamyrova Arai and other students recited poetry. At the end of the curatorial hour, in a playful way, there was a test of the knowledge of proverbs and sayings dedicated to Independence.
