On January 19, 2021, at the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Development of the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Sciences, within the framework of the project «Brighten the corner where you are», an open curatorial hour dedicated to the memory of D.A. Kunaev on the topic: «Ғасырдың дара перзенті».

The curatorial group of the senior lecturer of the department Rysmagambetova AA, 2-year students of the specialty "Ecology", prepared a presentation, photo and video materials, familiarized in detail with the biography of an outstanding statesman and political figure. Of particular interest was the video about the memorial museum and memorial apartment of D.A. Kunaev, the expositions of which demonstrate the path from a mining engineer to the top of power.
