On December 30, 2020, from 17.00 to 17.40, 3rd year students of the specialty Life Safety and Environmental Protection of the UNESCO Department for Sustainable Development organized an open educational hour in an online format through the Zoom platform on the topic "Zheltoksan-tauelsizdiktin bastauy". The purpose of the open lesson was to give students the opportunity to love their homeland, to serve as an example of the feat of our ancestors on the way to independence, to faithfully serve their country, their people. On the eve of the celebration of the independence of our country, students conducted a brief review of the country's history. Students at the open lesson watched various videos, told poems. After getting acquainted with the achievements of an independent country, sharing their thoughts, the students noted that respect for our history should be special. Then the head of the department Bazarbaeva T. A., teachers Abdibattaeva M. M., Bergenova N. S., Baiseitov D.A. made speeches, summed up the results of the open lesson.
