On December 27, 2022, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor of KazNU named after al-Farabi Abishev Medeu was awarded the title of "Best Research Fellow". The annual award was given by Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the contribution to the development of world science and the implementation of the strategy for the development of domestic science.

          Professor Abishev M. - conducts intensive scientific work in the field of general relativity, in 2017 he was awarded the badge of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Ғылымды дамытуға сіңірген еңбегі үшін", head of the Department of Theoretical and Nuclear Physics of Al-Farabi KazNU since 2011.

          Recognition of the scientific results of outstanding scientists of Al-Farabi KazNU and awarding them awards is another confirmation of the leading position of the university in the field of research activities in Kazakhstan.
