ISSAI introduced to the participants its activities, including the research direction.

Also ISSAI has demonstrated its models such as NLP and Object classifications.

The Parties also discussed issues of future cooperation:

1. Exchange of researchers.

2. Collaboration in the direction of object detection, NLP, computer vision, face recognition.

3. Joint organization of scientific events.

This was followed by a presentation on the capabilities of NVIDIA DGX and the potential provision of access for KazNU researchers to the NVIDIA DGX-1 server, with a demonstration of remote connection and access.

During the meeting, KazNU raised questions regarding the duration of access, environment to be used after access granted, possibility to get access for KazNU’s research with another 3rd Parties, limits on the access and features of DGX-1, potential collaboration.

ISSAI provided answers to all the questions raised by KazNU.

Conclusion:

The Parties agree that the ability to connect to DGX servers is a good opportunity to effectively expand the capabilities of KazNU's research and development capabilities.

KazNU will thoroughly analyze and review the use of the NVIDIA DGX-1 in its scientific research projects during June 2022 and will inform ISSAI in early July 2022.

ISSAI notes that if KazNU confirms interest in using the NVIDIA DGX-1, access will be granted in July-August 2022.
