On the 14-15 of February, 2017, students of 10-11 forms of profile school of KazNU visited the Faculty of Geography of the University, namely the Department of Geodesy, Cartography and Weather Station.At the Department of Geodesy and Cartography students learned how profitable and interesting these professions are, and the owners of this profession have jobs and a good salary.Acquainted with students and undergraduates 1-2 courses. The next day we visited the weather station. This is the only weather station in the university in Kazakhstan.Teacher Aliya Kazhybekova acquainted with the work of the department. The students understood that the meteorologist's work is difficult and responsible. Each specialty has its own peculiarities and difficulties.
