For Kazakh youth November 18, 2016 will be remembered. On this day, аmemorial officedevoted to the national writer of Kazakhstan, WWII veteran Azilhan Nurshayyhov is opened in the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Almaty.Line of his life A Nurshaihov has identifiedhim self with the words: Gunner. Student. Journalist. Writer.

The Writer A. Nurshaihov was awarded with the State Prize of the Kazakh SSR named after Abay.

He was the winner of the Union Prize A.A. Fadeev, was awarded 4medals and more than a dozen military medals and diplomas of the USSR Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Kazakh SSR.

Since independence, the writer was awarded the medal "Erenen begi ushin" (1995), the Order of "Parasat" (2005) and "Otan" (2010).

The opening of the memorial office was attended by famous writers and poets, and prominent representatives of scientific and creativeintellectuals, public figures, representatives of national and urban ethnic and cultural associations, youth and media.

During the event the pupils of profile school of KazNU acquainted with the works of the writer, listened to the Chairman of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan NurlanOrazalin, People's writer of Kazakhstan Kabdesh Zhumadilov, watched a movie about the life and work A.Nurshaihov "ZhurekJardy" (author Zhadyra Seydesh, 2010) video of the annual literary competition for young people of Kazakhstan "The World and man" in the scholarship named after A. Nurshaihov.

By the way, profile school students of KazNU were the winners of this competition. Azilhan Nurshayyhov lived a very interesting and eventful life, which canbe a dream for everybody.
