Objectives: 1) To share the results of one of the first socio-psychological studies of the Kazakh family and its features. 2) To spread the family's value among Kazakhstan citizens and Kazakh nation. 3) To show the importance of consolidating the efforts of different scientists and specialists in studying the family of the Kazakh ethnos as an interdisciplinary research object.

April 6, 2018, as a part of the program implementation of the Kazakhstan President’s article "A glance at the future: modernization of public consciousness", the presentation of the book "Psychological features of the Kazakh family" was made by Professor of the Al-Farabi KazNU, General and Applied Psychology Department Kabakova Maira Pobedovna.

The presentation took place in the Atakent-Expo International Exhibition Complex within the framework of the ХIX Kazakhstan International Exhibition "Education and Career", with the support of the Kazakhstan Ministry of Education and Science, the Almaty city hall, and the Association of Higher Educational Institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The largest education exhibition for schoolchildren and students of Kazakhstan and abroad is the Open Day of leading universities and colleges. This year more than 80 educational institutions from 13 countries introduced visitors to the education systems of different countries of the world.

The guests of the presentation were foreign professors of Nazarbayev University (from Germany and Turkey), Bazarbaeva A.A. the Director of the Family Institute of Kazakhstan and Central Asia, Oralbek Kaboke, member of the Artists Union of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Youth Artists Union, author of the painting "White Dastarhan", who decorated the cover monograph, Kalysh A.B., professor of the KazNU, archeology, ethnology and museology department, history science doctor Taubaeva Sh.T., pedagogy science doctor, professor of the pedagogy and educational management department, holder of the title "The best teacher of the university of 2017", Kasymova R.S., and acting Professor of the KazNU, Pedagogics and Educational Management department, pedagogy science candidate, Associate Professor, Maul T.A., Director of the Human Bioplasm Recovery Center, Alternative Medicine Doctor, Raspopova E., Consultant on Personnel Evaluation, Psychologist of the Organizational Development Center "HR consulting”, Aksakalova Zh.K., Associate Professor of the Turan University, psychology sciences candidate, Olzhayeva A.K., Chief Editor of the Republican magazine "Psychology in School", Master of Psychology, Serikbayeva G.E., Director of "Europa Express" Master of Psychology, undergraduates and students of al-Farabi KazNU, Abai KazNPU, school students, including Tavlyutova Alia, a school student of 9th grade of grammar school N 123, with her mother Tavlyutovoy A.S, the staff team of the Publishing House "Kazakh University", the family of the author, and many others.

The presentation was conducted by the marketing specialist of the sales department - Sembaeva Merey.

It should be noted that the monograph of M. P. Kabakova is the result of her many years of research related to the socio-psychological characteristics of the Kazakh ethnos family. This is one of the first works in Kazakh psychology, where the Kazakh family acts as an object of research. The presentation of the book took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere, with observance of the traditions and customs of the Kazakh people: tusau kesu, shashu.

The family topic found a response in almost every participant of the presentation. And the book aroused great interest.

As the family topic is actual today, the respected professors emphasized the importance of the thesis: "A happy family is the key to the success of the government!" and made a proposal to continue the study of the Kazakh family by combining the efforts of scientists from different specialties of the Kazakhstan and Turkic-speaking countries, and also wished the author to defend her doctoral dissertation.

The artist Oralbek Kaboke expressed his gratitude to the author about his painting that was used as the cover of the book, and stressed that the research of the Kazakh family made by M.P. Kabakova inspired him on new ideas related to this topic.
