On April 19 2021, on ZOOM platform, the 1st year students majoring in Russian language and literature, A. Kapas, S. Mamyr, Li Nanna, M. Talmagambetuly, A. Toleuova, A. Rymova, A. Seitova, and the professor A. Zhaksylykov organized the educational event. The event topic was: Mukagali Makatayev is a bright star of Kazakhstani poetry. Professor A. Zhaksylykov made a report about M. Makatayev’s literary works. The report was accompanied by the presentation prepared by S. Mamyr, who also was a a co-speaker. A. Kapas was the conference moderator. Maksat Talmagambetuly sang two songs written by M. Makatayev. Each of the students recited the favorite poems by the poet. At the end of the event, Zhaksylykov A.Zh made the concluding remarks.
