December2016, the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies of al-Farabi Kazakh National University held a remarkable event within the framework of the project "Aynalandynurlandyr"devoted to "25 Years of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the theme “My country, my land – Independent Kazakhstan”. The event was organized by the teachers of Department M.A. Zhanabekova, D.A. Karagoishiyeva, G.S. Sharipova and A.S. Tarakov.
