On October 29, 2019, the Department of Biotechnology of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology within the framework of the programs "Rouhani zhangyru" and "100 books" was held a creative evening dedicated to the 175 anniversary of Abai Kunanbayev.

The purpose of the creative evening: to promote the formation of a high sense of patriotism, familiarization with the life and creativity of the great Kazakh poet Abai Kunanbayev.

A round table dedicated to the life and creativity of Abai Kunanbayev was held together with the students of the 1-4 of the courses "5В070100 - Biotechnology." Students made presentations about the creative path of the great Kazakh poet. And also read excerpts from the work of Abai Kunanbayev, expressed their opinion about the work of the poet, about modernity to those who in those distant years worried Abai. At the end of the event teachers gave a speech, expressed their admiration for the creativity of the great poet Abai Kunanbayev and words of gratitude to the students who prepared the event.
