Faculty of Geography at Al-Farabi University conducted online seminar on "Impact of climate change on water resources" on February 5, 2015 at 15.00 (225 Aud.).
As part of the online seminar will discuss the following questions:
1) Climate change on the globe (according to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and other expert groups).
2) Modern trends in climatic characteristics in Kazakhstan, Central African Republic, Europe and other countries.
3) Prediction of future climate change on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Central African Republic, Europe and other countries.
4) The impact of climate change on water resources.
5) Impact of climate change on glaciers and river flow.
6) Policies and measures for adaptation to climate change on water resources.
