The 5th season of the Republican competition of business projects Startup Bolashaq begins, which takes place as part of the 20th anniversary of the Bolashak Association.

The purpose of the competition is to support business initiatives of entrepreneurs, to inform people about government tools to support entrepreneurship.

The organizers invite any business projects from different sectors of the economy and regions of Kazakhstan that require investment financing.

Both beginners and existing entrepreneurs can take part in order to promote and expand their business.

This year the large-scale project has no age restrictions. 10 potentially profitable business projects for investors will receive 100,000,000 tenge.

The Startup Bolashaq competition will be held in the format of the popular, global reality TV show Dragons’ Den, where entrepreneurs present various business ideas to a group of investors in order to receive investment financing for their projects.

This season, reputable Kazakh businessmen and philanthropists - Yerlan Issekeshev, Murat Abdrakhmanov, Armanzhan Baitasov, Gaukhar Kapparova, Timur Turlov, Dinara Satzhan, Beibit Alibekov, Kanysh Tuleushin and others - will act as business angels this season.

Startup Bolashaq promotes an entrepreneurial culture and supports successful business solutions for the further social and economic development of the country.

The project will take place in several stages. Participants will be filmed in a reality show format, as well as mentoring and consulting support from well-known business people of our country, who will provide investment support to the finalists to create a dream business.
