Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Faculty of International Relations, Resource Center for American and Democratic Studies and the American Studies Student Association announces a competition to participate in the Summer School from 13 to 23 June 2019 in the sanatorium Kazakhstan, Almaty.

The goal of the program is the development of original curricula and other supporting documentation of educational programs on US foreign and domestic policy, as well as the preparation of scientific articles and recommendations in the field of American studies.

The Summer School program consists of lectures, seminars and trainings related to the study of the role of the United States in the modern world in the context of American studies in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.

Conditions of the contest: undergraduates, doctoral students and young teachers engaged in research in the field of American studies are allowed to participate. The age of participants should not exceed 40 years. All participants must submit a participant's application, biography and letter of recommendation from the institution / organization.

Deadline: May 1, 2019. All costs are due to the organizers of the Summer School.

Venue: Sanatorium Kazakhstan - Almaty, Dostyk, 308.
