On April 10 Al-Farabi KazNU will host the International Scientific Conference «Symbols, Artifacts, and Monuments of Culture of the Great Steppe», dedicated to the 2-year anniversary of the launch of the program on modernization of public consciousness «Ruhani Zhangyru».

The event will be attended by foreign and domestic researchers of cultural, religious studies, philosophical, social and political aspects of the realities of the XXI century. Scientists will touch upon such topical issues as: «Symbolic phenomena in the process of modernization of public consciousness», «Influence of information and communication technologies, mass culture, religious values on human consciousness in modern Kazakhstani society», «Modern theories of globalization and its influence on ethnic and national culture», «The concept of the Steppe and the Mountains», «The concept of civilizational processes of the Great Steppe», and «Cultural tourism in Kazakhstan. Dialogue of cultures, national code and values of the Great Steppe», etc.
