On the 15^th of May, year 2012 the whole world celebrates the international Day of Family. On cathedra of sociology and social work in Kazakh National University after Al-Farabi conferences and round tables are held annually. On the 15^th of May on faculty international round table, dedicated to this date and themed as “Marriage and family in a modern society. The role of religion in a marital and family relations.”, was held. The students of 2^nd and 3^rd grades, masters, PHD doctorates showed interesting presentations. Lecturers of the faculty, Turkish scientists, who were invited, professor Mehmet Arslan from South Korea, master Li Yen Ju, professor of philosophy Absattarov R. B. from KazNPU after Abai, professor of pedagogical sciences Hamitova I. R.from KazNPU, professor of philosophy Ospanov S. I. KazNWP, professor of psychology Tashimova F. S., professor of philosophy Kodar and others also take part in a discussion. The purpose of this event was to attract students to scientifical researches, to uplift values of marriage and family, also to show the value of marriage and family for the person and society.
