Upon completion of this educational program, students are expected to be able to:
1. demonstrate a systematic presentation and understanding of the scientific knowledge specifics and research methodology in the framework of modern paradigms of international relations problems, international and regional research and build on their own conceptual research base;
2. to rank the theoretical and methodological approaches in the study of regional and international processes and to argue the regional problems and the specifics of the socio-political understanding of reality;
3. substantiate and present the results of scientific research on new trends in the world and regional economic and political situation of modern scientific schools in the world and Kazakhstani science of regional studies for the analysis of the interaction of countries;
4. critically examine the integration processes contents in the world, identifying their similarities and differences based on monitoring the development of regional and international processes;
5. use modern information technologies for receiving, processing, systematization, analysis and storage of scientific information on topical issues of regional processes;
6. analyze and present an expert assessment of the geopolitical relations of the Central Asian countries and Eurasia with leading regional and global centers of power;
7. to substantiate the significance of new measurements and new parameters of regional security in order to ascertain new trends in the development of states in a regional context;
8. to present the scientific results of the dissertation research for discussion with the scientific community in the format of publications in rating journals in international databases of Thomson-Reuters or Scopus, as well as in national and international peer-reviewed publications.
9. To critically evaluate changes in the global and regional economic and political situation and determine the extent of their influence on intra-state socio-economic and political processes;
10. To carry out research, design, and educational and professional activities in the specialty in the form of scientific reports, abstracts, article theses, comments, doctoral theses, educational research and scientific projects.
11. Demonstrate the skills of public speaking both to specialists and to an audience that does not have the appropriate professional training using at least two foreign languages, taking into account professional and scientific ethic requirements within the framework of corporate culture.
12. Create a bank of scientific and practical recommendations on the development of political, economic, socio-cultural regional processes;
