demonstrate knowledge of the main stages of the modern history of the progressive development of the statehood of Kazakhstan in the context of the world and Eurasian historical process; to freely interpret and creatively use scientific, historical and philosophical knowledge to summarize the success factors of the Kazakhstan development model on the way to an established state - the Republic of Kazakhstan; to integrate spiritual and moral education into the content of practical activities;
2. apply the legislation in the field of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, republican and international standards and conventions (the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “About education”, “About medical-pedagogical and social support for children with disabilities”, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the fundamentals of the social policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of protection of children's rights, the state program for the development of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the state program of moral and spiritual education "Self-cognition", etc.)
3. use various strategies and methods of social education, promote harmonization of the social sphere and environment of an educational institution, liaise with parents (persons replacing them), follow the rules and norms of social protection, labor protection, safety measures and ensure the protection of life and health of students in educational process;
4. analyze and comprehend their own spiritual and moral improvement and inspire by personal example to transform the personality and striving for disinterested service to society; to reflect on their professional activities, systematically improve their professional qualifications, define the limits of their competence, communicate successfully with colleagues and specialists in related professions, participate in the activities of methodological associations and in other forms of methodological work;
5. design and implement classes on “Self- cognition” based on universal values, principles of spiritual and moral education, national values of education, modern humanistic theories; design and implement the pedagogical process at school, master modern pedagogical technologies, effectively use them in the holistic pedagogical process of the educational institution, design individual educational trajectories;
6. develop and implement social and pedagogical activities in designing programs, projects, plans for educational activities and their social and pedagogical support and support in schools, colleges, other educational organizations, organize the activities of the social and psychological service at school, preliminarily assess the activities of this school services;
7. organize the work of cultural and leisure centers; to conduct cultural and educational work with children, teenagers and young people; develop educational programs, techniques and technologies;
8. solve the tasks of primary diagnostics of children based on observation methods and counseling conversations, provide psychological advice to children with deviant behavior in typical situations of inquiry, apply counseling methods focused on solving development problems, search for age development resources, know how to organize experimental work in educational institutions on counseling children; on the prevention and correction of deviant behavior of the child;
9. promote the establishment in society of the values of social responsibility and service to people, the values of self- cognition and ethics, the promotion of volunteer work; organize social and educational activities in a multicultural society, taking into account the diversity of cultures, religions, ethnic groups, social groups;
10. conduct socio-pedagogical research, evaluate the results of socio-pedagogical research in the field of education, prepare conclusions and proposals for their practical use;
11. creatively solve problems in the field of education, actively apply methods, systems of creative knowledge and technologies in the educational process of the educational institution, the ability to set and solve non-standard tasks;
12. identify the features of the age-related anatomical, physiological, psychological development of the young person; understand the patterns of social and personal development of children, adolescents and young people, design the interaction of the social teacher with the family in various situations; fill pedagogical documentation; carry out educational work with parents, apply innovative forms and methods of involving the parent community in the correctional and pedagogical process.
