Faculty of Philosophy and Politology - one of the leading educational centers for social and humanities disciplines in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Faculty was established during the development of culture and university education in general, Kazakhstan’s philosophical, sociological, psychological, pedagogical and political sciences. During its functioning the department has prepared high professional level specialists for various spheres of public life. They work in many parts of the country. The faculty has a high creative potential, responsibility and devotion to their profession.

To improve the efficiency of use of intellectual potential graduates of al-Farabi KazNU and opportunities of university in training and retraining teaching and research staff Graduates Association of the Faculty was establishedwithin the Universityfororganizing the leadership lectures, training seminars and conferences with graduates. Association awards scholarships to students who are actively involved in the public life of the university.

The Association actively enhances information activities to keep the relations with the graduates, summarizes and systematizes analytical materials reflecting ongoing collaboration with the graduates and also continues work on the development of financial fund university - an endowment made by graduates.
