International Activity

International cooperation of the department contributes to the development of the international scientific and educational mobility of teaching staff, the increase of the required professional knowledge among teachers. Scientific and practical cooperation with foreign diplomatic missions in the Republic of Kazakhstan (Embassy of India, Indian Council on International Affairs (ICWA), Consulate General of Germany, Embassy of Japan, Japanese Cultural Center, Egyptian Cultural Center, etc.) and with embassies of the Republic of Kazakhstan in foreign countries (Kazakhstan in the USA, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Hungary, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in India, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Russia, etc.) is strongly developing.

The department develops cooperation with the offices of international organizations - the United Nations (Department of Public Information), the EU, NATO (Public Diplomacy Department), OSCE Center in Astana, the International Committee of Red cross etc., as well as with various international foundations and educational centers (educational Center Bilim.kz., DAAD, Representation of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Central Asia and Kazakhstan, Representation of the Ebert Foundation, Higher education support program of the Institute About open society (HESP, OSI) in the form of joint conferences, embassy hours, consultation and receive a variety of information.

The department has stable scientific contacts with a number of foreign universities and research centers from 25 countries of Europe, America, and Asia. Forms of cooperation are different: scientific internships for teachers, inviting foreign professors to lecture, conducting joint scientific research, participating in foreign conferences, scientific internships, co-guiding doctoral students, joint work on writing applications for international grants, etc. It should also be noted that this activity is carried out within the framework of the guest lecture program held at the Faculty of International Relations.
