The center of sociological researches is a resource center for students, undergraduates, doctoral candidates, and also the young teachers focused on carrying out of scientific researches.

The purpose of creation of the center as versatile research company of a full cycle, first of all, the academic researches. It simultaneously should be not only as the center of polls, and training center of young researchers and its employees should be aimed at integration into world sociological community.

Center primary activity is the organization and carrying out of theoretical and applied sociological researches.

Into Center problems enters:

1. formation of bank of the empirical data and sociological archive by results of spent sociological researches;

2. maintenance of scientific researches within the limits of confirmed by the Center and a management of University of the plan of work;

3. attraction to work on projects of teachers and students Treasury of al-Farabi;

4. creation of an information database for use in scientific activity and in educational process Treasury of al-Farabi.
